The 903rd has seen some decent growth over the past year. Granted, we haven't seen astounding numbers that rival other costuming clubs, but I believe that is only because we are still very young and in the early stages of development. We have had plenty of forum members show remarkable steps towards custom Star Wars costumes and we will be making the official announcement very soon of our first official members. I personally had hoped that your command staff would have been able to step up to the plate and set the example by becoming the first ones...but unfortunately the current US economy has hit all of us very hard in the wallet. And as the three founding members (and most of the admin staff) is in Florida, we haven't had the luck we hoped for. However, that will change in the coming year.
The members currently up for official membership are the bar-setters. They have been able to step up, take the challenge, and run with it, and I am very proud of what they have achieved, as I am sure you will be as well.
As I said, hopefully, 2011 will bring increased prosperity to us all and we can make a bigger impact on the costuming world as we grow in numbers.
