SMUGGLERS: If your character is a smuggler, there is going to be some leeway given as to the type of costume you wear. It must, however, retain a bit of "Star Wars-iness" to it. The Cantina of Episode IV and Jabba's Palace of Episode VI are good places to start for ideas. Vest or no vest, and modest pieces of armor, nothing extensive, are acceptable. Each costume will be considered as long as it retains modesty and in-universe qualities. The weapon of choice can be anything seen in-universe, canon or EU source, or a custom weapon that is more than 50% modified to look as if it could be from the Star Wars universe.
HUMAN: The typical model for a smuggler is Han Solo. A western gunslinger-type with a fast ship and an even faster draw are essential qualities in your human smuggler. As stated above, some leeway will be given when coming up with this character and each costume will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
NON-HUMAN: For a non-Human smuggler, some human-like qualities and costumes will be considered (i.e. BH Bossk wearing a rebel pilot jumpsuit), but must be altered enough to reflect your non-human character’s origins. No slave-Leia bikinis on a Gammorean, as funny as that would be.
